Our Production

Weerulin produces refractories at facilities in Germany, Brazil, and Turkey. Our main mixing plant for the fully automated production of unshaped mixes is in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Our Weerulin Preshape plant is also located at this site. In Brazil, Weerulin do Brasil produces refractory masses and preshaped components in São Paulo. In Turkey, our brand-new mixing plant is located in Bozüyük.

Refractory Mixes

Fully automated production facilities allow us to respond immediately to short-term orders. Within 24 hours, any of our standard products can be produced and delivered to our customers. Computer-controlled mobile scales collect the required components according to the recipe database specifications. We pack and ship our refractory masses in BigBags, silos, or sacks according to customer requirements.

Preshapes

Weerulin produces shaped refractory components of all sizes, from the patented PowerDrum® casting start device to a ten-ton delta roof for the EAF. The mold construction and the production of steel structures are carried out in an integrated steel construction facility. To produce Weerulin preshapes, we use only high-quality refractory castables from our own production.
