Permanent Lining

The monolithic lining of the permanent lining offers advantages including:

• seamless ceramic body
• increased resistance TO wear
• less time required for lining
• reduced personnel costs

WEERULIN has longstanding experience in monolithic permanent linings. The two-layer technology with a light insulating concrete gunned directly onto the steel shell and a high-density castable has been well-proven among our customers. The permanent lining consists of easy flowing alumina based castables that combine great mechanical strength with a low weight.

Cover Lids

Weerulin lines cover lids for steel ladles with monolithic refractories (insulation+castable). To ensure an optimized wear protection the cover lids can be gunned with our specially designed hot gunning mixes with steel fibres.
