Pig Iron Ladle
In addition to its uses for transportation, the pig iron ladle also fulfils metallurgical tasks. This demands even higher resistance to wearing in the refractory material.
Our lip ring linings placed by torcreting and pouring, reinforced with stainless steel fibres, are well-proven commercially. Monolithic permanent lining concretes, dry backfilling mixes for brick linings and insulating gunning mixes for easier de-skulling are all new products in this area.
